Our key dates

1974

Isaac and Sarah Taïeb founded AGS, a removals company based in Paris.

1982

Establishment of AGS Guadeloupe, the first branch outside of mainland France.

1991

MOBILITAS acquires a British company that gives entry to the Anglo Saxon market and the establishment of AGS London.

1993

AGS Côte d’Ivoire was founded. The 1990s are marked by expansion into Africa. After Côte d’Ivoire, AGS opened a branch in Kenya and rapidly expanded to the East African market.

1997

Acquisition of Les déménageurs bretons, the N° 1 domestic movers in France.

2000

Acquisition of DÉMÉPOOL in France.

2001

Acquisition of the Laser Transport Group (Frasers, Stuttaford Van Lines, Pickfords, Magna Thomson) in South Africa. MOBILITAS is now the leading group in Southern Africa.

2004

The purchase of Executive Relocations introduces the group to the international mobility services market, meeting the needs of its customers and strengthening its European service offering.

2005

Expansion into Asia with the purchase of the Four Winds International Group, Trinity in India followed by the group’s expansion into China.

2007

Self storage service launches in France.

2008

MOBILITAS embarks on digital and physical records management with the acquisition of ARCHIV SYSTEM.

2009

Acquisition of Coussaert International Removals, in Belgium.

2011

Acquisition of Pelichet International Removals, in Switzerland.

2011

MOBILITAS extends its international network with the opening of an AGS branch in the Middle East, offering moving and relocation services.

2012

Acquisition of Pietsch, a records management company in Germany.

2012

Acquisition of Froesch International Removals, in Germany.

2013

Launch of Executive Relocations in Africa.

2015

Merger between AGO and ARCHIV SYSTEM. MOBILITAS has become a major player in the records management sector.

2016

Acquisition of Arkhênum, a niche player in heritage imaging.

2016

MOBILITAS completes its presence in each of the 54 African countries. MOBILITAS “Africa 54” is born.

2017

MOBILITAS continues its expansion in Europe and the Caribbean with the acquisition of Noble Mobility Group in the Netherlands and Meyer in Curaçao, Bonaire, Aruba and Dutch Saint Martin.

2018

Acquisition of eManage in Kenya and Archives Landaises in France.

2019

Acquisition of the UniGroup in Asia network.

2020

With the acquisition of Pro Archives Systèmes, MOBILITAS assumes a leading position in France’s physical and digital records management sector.

2020

Partial acquisition of Doc’Archives. Acquisition of AFA Logistics, AZ Services Rhônes-Alpes-Auvergne, Archives Landaises in France and Archiv Services in Bosnia.

2021

Diginove, a start-up specialising in digital data processing and satellite imagery, joins forces with MOBILITAS.

2021

Acquisition of Archibald in Toulouse, consolidating MOBILITAS’ physical and digital records management activities in France.

2021

Acquisition of La Reliure du Limousin and partial acquisition of Tribvn, and Art Graphique et Patrimoine (AGP) which join Arkhênum to enhance the heritage offering. Creation of the MOBILITAS Heritage Division.

2022

Creation of Memorist, the unifying brand of the Heritage Division.

2022

Partial acquisition of Vectracom, which joins Memorist.

Pro Archives Systèmes becomes AGS Records Management

Acquisition of Centre Archives and of Nouméa Archives.
